8.5 Working!!

Hi as you may be just finding out I watch a lot of anime... and when I say a lot I mean A LOT! Recently a thought occurred to me, "I really wish I had a way to find anime that is really worth watching and appeals to me."  Thus a blog was created! My first review is about an anime I finished today called Working!! I was looking at all the fall anime and a title called Working!! 2 caught my eye. Now the main reason I watched it was because most bad anime don't get a second season. To be honest when I first read the description, I was a little disillusioned. "How could work be fun?" I was gravely mistaken!

Working!! follows the activities and lives of the unusual employees at the Wagnaria family restaurant.

 I came into this anime with anything but high hopes, but was ultimately thrown for a loop! If the uniquely strange cast and setting are not exciting, they are hilarious. Every episode is something new, but keeps you laughing your butt off. I think the writer did an outstanding job creating the characters, as every one brings a different element to the scene. My favorite of course being Soma. I find the fact that he blackmails others into doing his work, to be hilarious! The writer did a great job making his adorable, childish character, Taneshima. She looks like a little chipmunk, and triggers something of a fatherly instinct! Although this wasn't a masterpiece, if your looking for a good laugh it is definitely worth watching. After watching this anime, I want to get a restaurant job! (Just kidding :P) Over all I give it an 8.5; Working!! will have you rolling on the floor laughing as it parodies the service industry.
